# Customize Your Report

## Customize Your Pentest Report

You may be able to create a customized pentest report.

:::info
If allowed by your [PtaaS tier](https://www.cobalt.io/pentest-pricing), you can customize reports for [Comprehensive](https://docs.cobalt.io/en-us/articles/glossary-YfTMKeZ1VM#h-comprehensive-pentest) and [In-House](https://docs.cobalt.io/en-us/articles/glossary-YfTMKeZ1VM#h-in-house-pentest) pentests.

:::

Pentest reports are available when the pentest is in Remediation or Closed [state](https://docs.cobalt.io/en-us/articles/pentest-states-KfXxlt4Re2).

To customize a report:

1. In the Cobalt app, select **Pentests**, and then select **Remediation** or **Closed** in the **State** list.
2. Select a pentest, and select the **Report** tab. You’ll see report sections, along with the **Report** list that allows you to select from the [pentest report types](https://docs.cobalt.io/en-us/articles/reports-YkC2da1roR#h-pentest-report-types). ![](https://docs.cobalt.io/api/attachments.redirect?id=37a4261f-d55e-4d37-b190-fce1a5e8d981)
3. You can now customize the selected report type. Select **Customize**, and scroll to a report section.
4. If you want to leave out a report section, select the eye icon next to the section title.
   * You can’t hide the [Executive Summary](https://docs.cobalt.io/en-us/articles/customize-your-report-uqGyfWEzaa#h-executive-summary).
   * For an [Attestation Letter](#h-attestation-letter), section titles don’t appear. You can only hide an overall findings summary table. ![](https://docs.cobalt.io/api/attachments.redirect?id=5f331413-6001-43e6-b1f0-f602bacc2d4b)
5. When you’ve finished customizing your report, scroll to the top of the page, and select **Apply**.
6. Now you can select **Download** to download your pentest report, as a PDF file, with the changes you configured.

#### Note

Unless you’ve customized a report, you won’t see a **Customized Report** option in the list of report types. If you repeat the process, you’ll overwrite any existing Customized Report.
